I don't have much to say other than fuck. We smashed our face up against Faction Champs and as per usual, I felt as if things were focused on me more often than not. Taking the arena homework assignment seriously even if I despise PvP. We will see how things go.

Raid Sunday November 8th, 2009
Tonight I was very happy to get back at it and down some bosses in ToGC and things were promising as we only had one hiccup on Northrend Beasts which caused an enrage(but killed nonetheless) and one on Lord Jaraxxus. I had a problem with the Infernal that hit me right after a Fel Lightning and it caused me to die. Now I am not sure what caused him to attack me but it might have been the tank not having complete aggro and I pulled with a couple (un)lucky crits. I felt really good at this point that things were going well and then we once again smashed up against my least favorite encounter in the game(even worse than Archimonde), Faction Champions. I think I have such a distaste with it because it isn't a completely controllable encounter and has a lot of random things that can happen. The things that caused me to die were the usual, too many things on me without enough things to get away and escape successfully. This is something I need to work on because I need to first know what I have and what I don't when I am targeted, which I got better at I felt throughout the night, and I need to be much more vocal about asking for help. I also think something I will be doing for tomorrow will be getting the Soulstone glyph and having that as a good way to get someone who was dying back up because people that are doing things like dispelling and CC are critical to success and this would allow them to rez with alot of health and mana and be able to get back into the fray when we really need them.
We didn't accomplish our goals with Faction Champions so we spent the end of the night doing normal mode ToC which went well and we then worked on the strategy for Anub hard mode, which I was not sure of right away but after seeing it I am confident I will be able to handle it if called upon. I will also comment on my threat again as I think I did something wrong but not totally sure with the adds because I did pull one and not sure if it was something I could have prevented and caused Phase 3 to be a much larger problem than it should have been.
All in all I guess it was a C- night seeing as the original goals were not met. Hopefully tomorrow will bring us better fortune.

Why am I starting this.
Work work...I have been looking at the things that have been going on with raiding and as always I am going to get out what I put in. This is going to help me consolidate my progress as well as changes to warlocks for easy access for me but also for anyone who is interested.
A bit about about my character before we get too far ahead. I started this game almost at game launch but only really began to play at a high end content in January of 2008 at a very casual level and moving to progression chasing content in April of that year. I was a part of a guild who pushed to the end of Burning Crusade and ended the expansion 5th on the server. With the launch of Wrath I maintained my desire to push for progression raiding up through the current time but due to constraints of my previous guild I was unable to see many hard mode encounters until Completely Different. I am currently one of a few warlocks that are raiding with Completely Different and loving every minute. Being able to see hard mode fights(even if they are just with ToC and boring as hell) and because these hard mode fights require not only top gear, but my top game play.
The big thing this will do is for me to be able to put down things I have done in the raid that night, which will include but not be limited to, gear acquired, mistakes/early deaths so as to look at them later, as well as listing changes to my specs/rotation/strategies ect. I will be leaving this so others can see it but this is much more for me to look at than anyone else so leave comments if you wish and I hope this will be a good thing for the future pushing into progression content.
